Rental Terms

• Book online through this website, or call us at (904) 298-7236.
• We deliver anywhere on Amelia Island. You choose your cart size and enter your delivery address when you book.
• Your booking is confirmed once it is paid and you receive our confirmation email.

• The rental total is charged to your card when you book.
• We don't collect a security deposit, but the card you pay with is kept on file. It may be charged for damage to the cart during your rental, late-return fees, or other charges under your rental agreement.
• Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card number.

• 7 or more days before delivery: you receive a refund of the amount paid, minus 10%.
• Less than 7 days before delivery: contact us at (904) 298-7236 or office@tidalwavegolfcarts.com.

• Carts are delivered on or before 4:00 PM on your delivery day.
• Please have your cart ready for pickup by 11:00 AM on your pickup day.
• You don't need to be there for delivery or pickup; our team handles both.
• Carts come with a full tank of gas and don't need to be refueled before return.
• If the cart is returned more than 30 minutes late without our approval, a $50 per hour late fee may apply. A return that runs into the next full rental day may be charged the daily rate plus a $100 fee. Need it longer? Ask us in advance and we'll extend your rental if a cart is available.

• Drivers must be at least 25 years old, with a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Every driver signs the driver rental agreement and uploads photos of their driver's license and insurance card. Every rider signs the rider rental agreement; a parent or legal guardian completes it for minors.
• Carts are for paved public roads with speed limits of 35 mph or less. No beach, trail or off-road driving. All riders stay seated with a seatbelt, and carts may not carry more than their stated capacity.
• All traffic laws apply. Renters are responsible for damage during the rental. See our Rules of the Road.

Tidal Wave Golf Cart Rentals texts guests about their own rentals. These terms match the text messaging section of our Privacy Policy.

• We only text you if you opt in, for example by checking the SMS box when you book. Consent is obtained when you opt in, and is not a condition of booking or buying anything. The box reads: “Text me booking and delivery updates. Msg frequency varies, msg & data rates may apply, reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent not required to book.”
• Messages are about your rental: booking confirmations, delivery and pickup updates, waiver reminders, and replies to your questions.
• Message frequency varies.

• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the providers that deliver the messages for us, and only for that purpose.
