Privacy Policy

• Booking details: your name, email, phone number, delivery address and unit, rental dates, cart choice, any coupon code, delivery notes and how you heard about us.
• Rental waivers: driver and rider details, signatures, and the driver's license and auto insurance card images you upload. A parent or guardian may list minor riders on the rider waiver.
• Contact form messages: your name, email, phone number and message.
• Payment cards: card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number; we only see the card brand, last 4 digits and expiry date.
• Text messages: only if you opt in (see Text messaging below), including your replies and opt-out requests.
• Technical data and analytics: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and similar usage data, collected through Google Analytics.
• Cookies and similar browser storage (see Cookies below).

We use your information to:

• take and manage your booking, and deliver and pick up your cart;
• process rental waivers and meet insurance requirements;
• take payments and issue refunds;
• answer your questions and provide customer service;
• send booking confirmations and rental reminders;
• understand how the website is used so we can improve it;
• meet our legal obligations.

We don't sell personal information.

• We only text you if you opt in, for example by checking the SMS box when you book. Consent is obtained when you opt in, and is not a condition of booking or buying anything. The box reads: “Text me booking and delivery updates. Msg frequency varies, msg & data rates may apply, reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent not required to book.”
• Messages are about your rental: booking confirmations, delivery and pickup updates, waiver reminders, and replies to your questions.

• Vercel: website and booking-system hosting, and secure storage of waiver uploads
• Neon: secure database for bookings and waivers
• Stripe: card payments and saved cards for balances and refunds
• Resend: booking confirmation, waiver and reminder emails
• Twilio: text messages (only if you opt in)
• aReservation: online reservations made through its booking window

Each receives only what it needs for its job. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.

We use cookies and similar browser storage to make the site work (for example, remembering that you dismissed our cookie notice or a promotion, and your accessibility-tool settings) and to understand how the site is used through Google Analytics.

Our cookie notice tells you that we use cookies; it does not turn them off. To block or delete cookies, use your browser's settings. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the site, such as online booking, from working. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.

• Bookings and payment records: for as long as needed for your rental, taxes, accounting and any disputes.
• Rental waivers: for as long as insurance and legal requirements need.
• SMS consent records: kept as proof of when you opted in or out.
• Contact form messages: for as long as needed to answer you and follow up.

• Ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you (unless we're legally required to keep it).
• Opt out of emails by using the unsubscribe link where one is included, or by contacting us.
• Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access limited to the people and providers who need it. No website or system can be guaranteed completely secure.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. Rentals require an adult driver: drivers must be at least 25 years old.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
