Unwind in Motion

Yes — all of our carts are fully street legal and registered as low-speed vehicles (LSVs). You can drive them on any public road with a posted speed limit of 35 mph or less.

Absolutely. All standard traffic laws apply while operating a golf cart — including no drinking and driving, no texting while driving, and obeying all signs, signals, and right-of-way rules. Carts must be operated responsibly at all times.

Our carts are registered as Low-Speed Vehicles (LSVs) and have a top speed of 25 mph, as required by Florida law. They’re built for cruising comfortably on roads with speed limits of 35 mph or less—not highways or high-speed roads. It’s the perfect pace for enjoying everything Amelia Island has to offer.

That depends on your rental location. While golf carts are a great way to get around much of Amelia Island, not all lodging areas offer safe or convenient access to roads where carts are permitted. We’re happy to take a quick look and let you know if your rental property or hotel is a good fit for cart use — just reach out and ask.

Gas carts go further, handle better with passengers, and eliminate charging issues — especially since many vacation rentals don’t have easy access to charging outlets. With gas, you’re free to explore without worrying about where to plug in.

No need—we’ll take care of that. All carts come with a full tank of gas and do not need to be refueled before return. If you do refuel, please use regular unleaded gas only.

Yes. If your child is required to use a car seat or booster seat in a regular vehicle, the same rule applies in a golf cart. For safety and legal compliance, please bring and use an appropriate car seat or booster seat if needed.

Drivers must be at least 25 years old, with a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Each driver must:

  • Sign a waiver
  • Provide a valid driver’s license
  • Submit proof of active auto insurance

Renters are financially responsible for any damage that occurs during the rental period, including to the body, tires, seats, roof, windshield, or electronics. We don’t collect a deposit, but a payment method must be kept on file and may be charged for repairs if needed.

Yes. Renters are responsible for any parking or traffic citations received during the rental. Please follow posted signs and avoid parking in restricted areas, blocking sidewalks, or leaving the cart where it might be towed.

We ask that carts be returned on time to avoid disrupting the next rental. If you return the cart more than 30 minutes late without prior approval, a $50 per hour late fee may apply. Returns that extend into the next full rental day may be charged the daily rate plus a $100 fee.

If you think you’ll need the cart longer, just let us know in advance—we’ll do our best to extend your reservation, depending on availability.
